The Hygger 1600 wavemaker fish & anemone guard has quickly become one of our most popular products. Several hundred nano reef hobbyists are now using this guard to protect their fish, coral, & anemones from becoming sushi. This guard only fits the Hygger wavemaker HG-951 1600gph. If you are looking for a guard that fits the larger Hygger wave pump 2600gph it is available in the iSealive store.
Each guard is custom 3d printed so it will have visible layer lines and some minor flaws on its surface.
Installation Notes:
This guard replaces the original cover. IT DOES NOT SLIDE OVER THE TOP OF THE PUMP. To install the guard you have to first remove the original cover by twisting it about 8 degrees to the left. Once removed you can install the anemone guard in its place. First line up the cord slot at the top then make sure the pump is sitting flush inside the guard. Then you can twist the guard 8 degrees to the right and it will lock into place. II suggest that you watch the creation and installation video below. If you have any questions please reach out.
